Tottenham fans noticed what Son Heung-min and Dele Alli did during 5-0 Burnley thrashing

The connection between Son Heung-min and Dele Alli has never been stronger.

Tottenham Hotspur's 5-0 thumping of Burnley on Saturday proved just that as the pair were instrumental as Jose Mourinho's side bounced back from losing against Manchester United in style.

Son scored a goal of the season contender as he ran almost the full length of the pitch to score a stunning solo effort.

Meanwhile, Alli made up for not getting on the scoresheet for the fourth successive game with two assists - including one for Lucas Moura which gave the hosts a 2-0 lead after just nine minutes.

But there was a moment between Son and Alli after 19 minutes in which some Spurs fans spotted.

As the ball goes out of play and thus bringing a Tottenham attack to a halt, it's clear that the two players were frustrated at not being able to make it 3-0 at the time.

So much so that they jumped up in synchronization.

It didn't matter in the end as Spurs extended their lead 12 minutes later, but the moment between Son and Alli didn't go unnoticed by supporters.

Son's stunning goal earned him big praise from Mourinho who also revealed his son's nickname for the South Korea international

"Even before this goal my son calls him Sonaldo, Sonaldo Nazario, and today he was Sonaldo Nazario because the only thing that came to my mind was the goal when I had the honour to be sitting next to Sir Bobby Robson at the Compestela-Barcelona game in 1996 when Ronaldo Nazario got the ball behind the midfield line and score a goal very similar to Sonny.

"It's the only thing that comes into my mind, an amazing goal, but it was an important performance, an important result, goals, happiness with the fans, happiness in the team, young boys coming from the bench, a 17-year-old kid making his debut, a clean sheet, I’m really happy.

"A difficult opponent.

"Always difficult, the result was because we were too good. They are a difficult side, a very good referee in Kevin Friend, best moment of his career, very stable, very confident, great decisions and amazing advantage with the fourth goal for Kane, so I think everything was really good.

"The boys will have tomorrow, the first day off for a long, long time. It was the perfect match for them to enjoy and have their day off tomorrow."
