Tottenham Hotspur climbed back to the top of the Premier League table on Sunday afternoon with a comfortable 2-0 win over arch rivals Arsenal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
First half goals from Son Heung-min and Harry Kane, who both assisted each other's strikes, did enough to seal the points for Jose Mourinho's side and take them back to the summit ahead of Liverpool on goal-difference.
The victory marked a return to winning ways and a return to the scoresheet for both Son and Kane, after the duo were left frustrated during last weekend's goalless draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
After failing to find the net against Frank Lampard's charges, it was always going to be clear that Son, who has been one of the Premier League's standout players so far this term, was going to be hungry to get himself back amongst the goals.
After just 13 minutes, the South Korean did exactly that, ensuring that the Spurs supporters who had been lucky enough to return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium left with a special memory in tow.
Son was picked out by Kane, motored forward, moved inside and unleashed a stunning, curling effort out of the reach of Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno and into the top corner.
It was a strike fitting for the occasion, leaving Spurs fans going delirious in the stands.
On the pitch, meanwhile, midfield ace Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who played just as big a role as anyone in the triumph over Mikel Arteta's side, was staggered by what his team-mate had just produced.
The Danish international, who has been a key figure for Mourinho's side so far this term, reacted to Son's stunning effort by putting his hands on his head and reacting in disbelief as to what had just happened.
As you can see in the photograph above, Hojbjerg (pictured left) had been stunned by Son's speculative effort, which took his tally of goals for the season in all competitions to 13, 10 of which have come in the Premier League.
It is not the first time that Son has scored a sensational goal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Last season, the former Bayer Leverkusen man scored an outstanding solo goal in a 5-0 win over Burnley, resulting in him being nominated for the FIFA Puskas Award.
