It is a real struggle for Mauricio Pochettino and Tottenham right now.
Spurs have drawn three of their last four Premier League games 1-1 and have not won in their last five, with their last triumph coming at home to Southampton on September 28.
The club have gone from the final of the Champions League last season to 14th place in the Premier League after the first 12 games of this season.
Pochettino's position at the club, which he has held strongly for the past five season, has, for the first time, come under threat.
The manager wanted a complete squad refresh in the summer, and for the first time in three transfer windows, Tottenham did bring in new players, with Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon arriving at the club.
However, plenty of players linked with the exit did not leave, and Pochettino was left to use them.
Pochettino's tactics have come under fire from supporters though, and there have been calls for the affable Argentinian to go.
Another international break hands Pochettino and his staff another opportunity to take stock of what is happening and to work on a plan to turn things around.
That's if he is given time, of course.
One thing that has been synonymous with Pochettino's Spurs over his tenure has been the team's high-press.
But it is a high-press that has been sorely lacking this season and some fans noticed just how bad it had got during the draw with Sheffield United on Saturday.
One Twitter user named @TransSPURS posted a video of the build-up to the Blades goal on Saturday, during which the visitors play the ball out from the back without any pressure, working their way up the pitch before scoring.
The caption on the tweet reads: "Absolutely no pressure from Tottenham. Sheffield United were given space and time to play the ball around and score. This team desperately needs more energy, because this is shambolic."
And the supporters reacted angrily to the video.
It is a real problem for Pochettino and Spurs that needs fixing quickly.
