Tottenham fans name the two transfers Spurs must make to 'back' Mauricio Pochettino this summer

Tottenham fans are hoping for at least two more signings ahead of the transfer window closing in just over a week.

Mauricio Pochettino has added two new faces to his squad so far with midfielders Jack Clarke and Tanguy Ndombele becoming the first new arrivals at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in over 18 months.

Highly rated Clarke signed from Championship club Leeds United, but will spend the 2018/19 season back on loan at his former club, while Ndombele has become the club's record signing when he completed a £63m move from Ligue 1 side Lyon. Spurs fans are excited to see their new man in Premier League action after impressing in his pre-season outings.

But it seems that Pochettino and Chairman Daniel Levy are not done there. There has been a number of other names linked with a move to North London during the transfer window, but there are two that Tottenham fans are keen to see arrive over the next 8 days.

Argentinian midfielder Giovani Lo Celso has been heavily linked with the Lilywhites throughout the summer, and is one of the club's most likely signings before the deadline. There has been reports that a deal between Tottenham and the player's club Real Betis is close.

Ryan Sessegnon has been a long term target for Pochettino and fits the mould of the type of player that the Spurs boss usually goes for. His one season in the Premier League with Fulham will now also make him a more attractive purchase.

It seems that Spurs fans have their eyes set on the duo, believing that the two players will allow the club to go into the season with the strongest squad possible.

Pochettino has caused headlines in recent days by claiming that he knows nothing about what is happening with the transfer side of his squad, and that his job is getting the best out of the players at his disposal.
