Tottenham Hotspur supporters have sent a resounding message to Daniel Levy over former manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Reports on Tuesday suggested that Levy is considering a move to bring the Paris Saint-Germain boss back to north London following Jose Mourinho's sacking last month.
It's also claimed in the same article that Pochettino would love a second chance at Spurs following his departure towards the end of 2019.
However, football.london understands that the Argentine coach is not currently a candidate but he would come into the frame if his situation at PSG was to change and he showed a clear interest in returning to N17.
This has not stopped Tottenham fans from dreaming, though, and they have sent an emphatic message to the club's chairman over their former manager.
football.london understands that Spurs have decided on their top candidate, but an agreement is needed with the unnamed manager's current club before an announcement can be made.
Pochettino has hinted at a return to Tottenham in the past, with his departure coming as a surprise to many people after he took the club to the Champions League final just a few months before.
Speaking on BT Sport in April 2020, the ex-Spurs boss said: "It was an amazing journey that finished the way no one wanted it to finish.
"But deep in my heart, I am sure our paths will cross again. From the day I left the club, my dream is to be back one day and to try to finish the work we didn't finish.
"We were so closing to winning the Premier League and Champions League.
"But of course I am looking forward to moving on and I am so motivated for the next project.
"But deep inside I want to go back because the fans are so special. Maybe in five years, maybe in 10 years, but before I die I want to manage Tottenham.
"I want to feel what it means to win one title with Tottenham because the fans are amazing, all the love we received was amazing and that is a good opportunity to pay back all the love they showed us from day one."
