Tottenham fans fume as Raul Jimenez dodges red card after familiar incident against Leeds United

Tottenham fans are not happy with a refereeing decision during Wolves' win over Leeds United this evening.

Wolves took three points from newly-promoted Leeds thanks to a Raul Jimenez goal in the 70th minute.

But the Mexican striker didn't only make the headlines for his goal.

There was a question of whether Jimenez should have been sent off after he kicked out at Leeds United defender Robin Koch.

The incident was actually reviewed by VAR but it was decided the Wolves striker would not get a red card.

And that did not sit well with Tottenham fans who have noticed a similar incident was punished with a red card last season.

Spurs forward Son Heung-min was sent off for a very similar kick out against Chelsea last term, and fans have been pointing that out on social media.

Here's what Tottenham fans have been saying on Twitter.

Wolves' win takes them above Leeds and on to nine points for the season, one more than Tottenham.

Meanwhile, Leeds remain on seven points, one point and three places below Jose Mourinho's men, who have won two, drawn two and lost one from their first five games.

Tottenham don't face either of Wolves or Leeds until later in the season, taking on Wolves on Boxing Day and Leeds on the day after New Year's Day.

Next up, Mourinho's men are in Europa League action, welcoming LASK to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs will be looking to bounce back from their three-goal collapse against West Ham United last time out.
