Moussa Sissoko has battled back from a difficult start to become a confirmed fan favourite for Tottenham Hotspur and this summer he is going out of his way to make sure new signing Tanguy Ndombele gets off to the best start.
Ahead of the start of the club's pre-season tour of Singapore and China, the Frenchman shared a picture from the airport, walking alongside his compatriot through the terminal.
Spurs fans on social media reacted with delight to seeing the 29-year-old taking the younger player under his wing.
Ndombele is set to be a key figure for Mauricio Pochettino as he seeks to kick on from reaching the Champions League final in 2019.
The 22-year-old is seen as the natural successor to Mousa Dembele in midfield as a player who can dominate possession.
On Twitter, supporters praised Sissoko for doing all he can to prepare his countryman for the challenges ahead of him as he adapts to Tottenham and the Premier League.
It's not the first time that Sissoko has got supporters excited about his bond and potential partnership with Ndombele.
Ahead of flying out to Singapore, the Frenchman posted an update from training which showed him working with his countryman.
Tottenham fans clearly can't wait to see the pair in action.
