Marcelo Bielsa has given an update on Jack Clarke's hopes of breaking into Leeds United's starting XI, saying that he's 'improving'.
The young winger joined Tottenham Hotspur on a permanent deal over the summer months before being loaned back to the Championship for the duration of the season.
Unfortunately, things haven't quite gone to plan for Clarke who has barely featured under Bielsa, being limited to just two appearances in the Carabao Cup.
But speaking to the press ahead of the clash with QPR, Bielsa says that the youngster is moving in the right direction.
He said: "He is improving.
"Clarke has a process that allows him to play in the first team.
"After he had a problem far from a long period. Now, step by step, he’s finding his level.
"When an attacker plays well, he immediately becomes a resource for the manager because it’s very difficult to play well when you are attacking, Clarke has the same options as Pablo, Helder and Harrison.
"When he’s powered to unbalance a match he’s better than one of his team-mates. He’s going to have space because all the managers pay attention, no manager would ignore his skill."
