Tottenham fans absolutely loved what hat-trick hero Lucas Moura did after beating Huddersfield

Lucas Moura marked his sublime hat-trick for Tottenham by celebrating with his young son on the pitch - and the Spurs support loved it.

Spurs were without the injured Harry Kane and Dele Alli but Lucas's treble after an early Victor Wanyama goal were just reward for a dominant display against Huddersfield .

Wanyama put Spurs ahead after 24 minutes with a fine individual goal after dribbling around goalkeeper Ben Hamer and tucking the ball into an empty net from a Ben Davies pass.

Three minutes later the hosts scored again thanks to a fierce right-foot drive by Lucas that flew underneath Hamer after the excellent Moussa Sissoko set him up on the break.

Late in the second half, Lucas controlled Christian Eriksen's cross and fired into the bottom corner past the helpless Hamer before rounding off the win by smashing into the top corner in stoppage time.

The Brazilian became the first Tottenham player to score a Premier League hat-trick, other than Kane, since Gareth Bale in December 2012.

And he celebrated the memorable hat-trick, which saw him earn himself a place in history with the first treble in the 62,062-seater arena, by inviting his one-year-old son onto the pitch.

The former Paris-Saint Germain star had a kick about with the youngster, and the Spurs support cheered Miguel every time he kicked the ball.

Following the match, Moura told Sky Sports: “My son is my best gift. Today is a special day for me. I will never forget this moment."

And after witnessing the adorable moment on live television, fans took to social media to praise the Spurs winger.

One wrote: “There are very rarely ‘Aww’ moments when watching football but Lucas Moura bringing his son on the pitch for a kick-about to celebrate his hat-trick was adorable!”

Another said: “Lucas Moura having a kick about on the pitch with his baby son after scoring a hat trick, and the Spurs fans cheering every kick.”

Moura was also hailed as a role model, with one writing: “Fair play to Lucas Moura. Scores a hat trick in the Premier League and the first thing he wants to do is celebrate with his son. #RoleModel”
