The rivalry between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal stretches to social media.
Last week a Spurs fan attempted to troll a Gunners attacking midfielder with a post on Twitter.
But it very much backfired as Mesut Ozil's response was one that all Arsenal supporters loved.
It all began with Ozil being tagged in a tweet.
The post was of the Spurs squad official team photo ahead of their game against Juventus earlier in the month, but the line-up looked like there was somebody missing from the back row.
In reference to the popular belief that Ozil goes missing in big games, the Spurs fan tweeted: "Wait why was Özil in our team photo???"
To which Ozil had the perfect reply.
Making fun of the fact that Spurs have gone over a decade since winning a trophy, it's safe to say Ozil's reply was as brutal as it could have been.
He tweeted : "If you look closely ... you can see your trophy cabinet."
But following Spurs' win over Bayern Munich on penalties to lift the Audi Cup, one fan has responded to the Arsenal star.
With three simple words, this Tottenham supporters was quick to remind Ozil of the club's success.
"Audi Cup champions," the tweet states.
Of course the Audi Cup is a pre-season tournament, but it's good to see Spurs fans seeing the funny side of things.
