Here is your Tottenham morning digest on Tuesday, July 13.

Spurs linked with Kabak

With Euro 2020 now finished, attention will now turn to the transfer window and who Spurs could take to north London.

Nuno Espirito Santo has yet to welcome a player to the club this summer but that could change with Spurs eyeing former Liverpool loanee Ozan Kabak.

Tomiyasu provides insight

Meanwhile, another potential Spurs arrival has provided a useful clue of what he could be capable of should he sign for the club.

The defender was involved in Japan’s 3-1 victory against Honduras yesterday as his nation get prepared for the upcoming Olympic Games.

He was involved in the 40th minute as the Samurai Blue doubled their lead by winning the ball in the centre of the park and produced an excellent cross for Daichi Hayashi who in turn set up Ritsu Doan.

Kane issues strong statement

Away from transfers, Spurs striker and England captain Harry Kane has issued a strong statement in defence of Bukayo Saka, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford.

The three forwards were racially abused following England’s penalty shootout defeat to Italy in the Euro 2020 final on Sunday.

A number of significant figures both within and outside of the game have condemned the abuse and now Kane has come forward in defence of his international teammates.
