Tottenham evening headlines as Mourinho sends message to fans, Brighton's Ben White stance

Here are the Tottenham Hotspur evening headlines on Friday, December 4.

Bellerin backs Arsenal to beat Spurs

Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin has backed his side to rediscover their form in Sunday's north London derby with Tottenham.

The Gunners have lost four out of their previous six league matches, whilst Spurs go into round 11 of the Premier League fixtures boasting top spot. However, the Arsenal defender believes his side can get back to winning ways against Jose Mourinho's men at the weekend.

Speaking to beIN SPORTS via ESPN, Bellerin said: "It doesn't matter what stage of the season it is. It doesn't matter whether you're playing for something or not, it is always such a meaningful game.

"I've always enjoyed the pressure and the aggressivity of those games... When you're in a negative spiral, having a game like that at the weekend is the best way to turn things around."

Mourinho reveals how he wants fans to be on Sunday

Tottenham boss Mourinho has explained how passionate supporters can help his side when they return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

Spurs host Arsenal at the weekend, with 2,000 fans allowed back in the stadium following the government's announcement recently.

Now, Mourinho has detailed what he needs from the club's supporters when they come through the turnstiles on Sunday.

The Spurs boss said: "Do they want to go to the most beautiful stadium in England and enjoy that? Or do they want to go to play the game? If they want to enjoy the stadium and their passion for football, I don't think it makes a big difference.

"If they want to go there and play, wear a Tottenham shirt and play the game, that can give a little more motivation and pleasure for us, yes."

Potter sends White transfer message

Tottenham have been linked with a move for Brighton & Hove Albion defender Ben White, but Graham Potter has insisted he has 'no worries' over his player's future at the Amex Stadium.

White spent last season on loan at Leeds United and after the Seagulls recalled the centre-back, he has impressed in the Premier League, something which has led to links with a number of top-flight clubs including Spurs.

However, Brighton boss Potter is not concerned: "I have no worries about Ben getting his head turned at all. He is a level-headed guy and he wants to play football at the very highest level. He gets down with his work. He was totally professional in the summer despite the noise outside which you cannot control. He is a smart guy. We will try to help him enjoy his football as that is the most important thing."
