Here are your Tottenham evening headlines for Thursday, February 11.
Mourinho furious with Bale
Gareth Bale was a surprise omission from the entire Spurs squad on Wednesday night.
When the teams were announced there was no place for the Welshman, either in the starting lineup or on the bench.
He was not described as being injured by Jose Mourinho in his pre-match press conference, so where was he?
Ahead of the game he told BT Sport: "Gareth is not on the bench because he wasn't happy with his training session yesterday.
I wouldn't say an injury, not at all, but some feelings he wasn't happy with.
"So it was better for him to stay back and to be working with the sports science guys."
But Bale reportedly upset his manager, according to the Mirror, by posting an Instagram message that read: "Good session today" while the team were preparing for kick-off.
Nightmare fixture scenario
Tottenham were dumped out of the FA Cup after a thrilling nine-goal encounter with Everton on Wednesday night.
The Toffees booked their place in the quarter-finals with an epic 5-4 win in extra-time after the game ended 4-4 after 90 minutes.
While disappointing, it does at least mean Spurs have one less fixture off their calendar. But it does not mean their schedule gets any easier.
Two teams they are due to play in the Premier League on FA Cup weekends are still in the competition.
Grealish loves Son
Son Heung-min was in fine form against Everton, despite the defeat.
He sent in the corners from which Davinson Sanchez scored both his goals, while he also delivered the ball for Harry Kane to score to make it 4-4.
And that cross for Kane's diving header was a thing of beauty.
It certainly got Aston Villa ace Jack Grealish talking.
A prolific Instagrammer, Grealish was not going to let Son's performance pass without having his say.
He said: "Nah Son crossing in the game has been a [sic] absolute scandal."
You're not wrong, Jack.
