Tottenham are reported to have stepped up their hunt for a new manager as doubt swirls around Nuno Espirito Santo's future.
The Portuguese boss joined from Wolves in the summer and initially appeared to be a good fit for the North London club.
They won their first three league games and the woes of Jose Mourinho 's tenure appeared to be a relic of the distant past.
But a 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace, in which Odsonne Edouard netted twice, brought them back down to earth.
And alarm bells have been ringing ever since as they've lost four of their last six Premier League games.
Spurs lost 3-0 to Manchester United on Saturday and that was immediately followed by reports that the club are considering Santo's future.
It's now being claimed by various outlets that they are not only considering sacking him - they're actively planning for a future beyond him.
And they are said to be keen on former Roma boss Paulo Fonseca and Porto's Sergio Conceicao as potential replacements.
Fonseca was a target for the club in the summer but negotiations broke down shortly before Santo was announced.
He is in high demand however with Newcastle also circling as they look to replace Steve Bruce.
Brighton's Graham Potter is favourite with many bookies to take over from Santo.
Steven Gerrard's name is also predictably included by oddsmakers, but the Rangers boss currently stands at a 14/1 outside bet.
