The financial power of Premier League clubs has never been more evident.
And the TV deal is a big reason for that.
As revealed the Swiss Ramble on Twitter , 18 clubs from the top flight of English football make up the top 20 in terms of revenue from TV deals across European football's top five leagues.
Liverpool earned the most last season with £152m, champions Manchester City were in second place (£151m) and Chelsea completed the top three with earnings of £146m.
But what about Tottenham Hotspur?
Well, just like their final league position in 2018/2019 they finished fourth having received £145m for being broadcast on live TV a total of 26 times - one more than their London rivals from Stamford Bridge.
Spurs' earning places them higher than Manchester United (£143m) and north London rivals Arsenal (£142m).
Furthermore, La Liga duo Barcelona and Real Madrid are left trailing in Tottenham's wake.
Take a look at the rankings below.
In other news, Spurs were handed £51.5m boost during the summer transfer window.
As many as 13 first-team players including Kieran Trippier, Vincent Janssen and Fernando Llorente all left which means the north London outfit were able to bring their wage bill down.
Using figures from financial data company Spotrac - which are only estimated figures - Spurs saved these weekly earnings for each £65,000 per-week by selling Kieran Trippier, £35,000 per-week with the sale of Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and £34,000 per-week by offloading Vincent Janssen.
