Tottenham duo Heung-Min Son and Dejan Kulusevski get FIFA 22 upgrades after impressive form

Tottenham forwards Heung-Min Son and Dejan Kulusevski have both received upgrades on FIFA 22, along with one other Spurs player in the latest squad update.

In the Lilywhites last seven Premier League games, Son has scored nine times and assisted twice, taking him to 20 goals so far this campaign. His recent run of form has seen him move just two goals behind top scorer Mohamed Salah, making him one of the most prolific players in world football at this moment as they battle to secure the Golden Boot.

Kulusevski has been a hit in north London since his arrival in January, with the Swedish international having registered eight assists and three goals in just 15 games at the club. The addition of Kulusevski to the goal threat of Son and Harry Kane has created one of the most dangerous attacks in the league.

EA Sports have obviously noticed Spurs' impressive attacking form of late, with both Son and Kulusevski having been handed upgrades to their in-game stats on FIFA 22. The latest FIFA 22 squad update was released on Friday, May 6, 2022, with the squad update now available to download on all platforms including PC, Xbox and PlayStation.

Following the update, Kulusevski had the most stats increased, with a selection of his passing attributes all going up in rating. As well as his finishing (73-74) and his shot power (73-75) upgrading, the 22-year-old has received upgrades to his short passing (79-80), curve (83-84), long passing (68-70), short passing (73-75), vision (80-81) and composure (80-81).

The upgrades have seen Kulusevski's vision become the third best at the club, only behind Son (84) and Kane (87). His curve is also the second-best at Spurs, only behind Son (85).

Son received upgrades to three of his in-game stats in the latest update, with the forward receiving an increase in his finishing (88-89), agility (86-87) and balance (78-79). The upgrade to Son's finishing makes him the joint-fourth best finisher in the Premier League according to FIFA 22, only behind Salah (93), Kane (94) and Cristiano Ronaldo (94).

Along with Son and Kulusevski, wing-back Ryan Sessegnon received a mix of upgrades and downgrades to a selection of his stats. The 21-year-olds crossing (76-77), short passing (75-76), dribbling (75-76), long passing (62-65) and standing tackle (70-71) all improved, whilst his reactions (74-73) and interceptions (70-68) decreased.
