Tottenham fans have been waiting patiently, and some impatiently, for the announcement that Gareth Bale is once again a Spurs player.
And the wait is almost over.
Bale flew into London on Friday to complete his loan move from Real Madrid, with the season-long loan with an option for a second expected to be announced then too.
However, even though Bale and Madrid team-mate Reguilon arrived at the Tottenham training ground on Friday morning, no announcement over the two deals was forthcoming by the close of play.
Tottenham fans have been forced to wait until Saturday.
And that is when the announcements will be made.
Spurs announced a deal to sign Reguilon on a permanent contract on Saturday evening, just after dropping a massive hint that Bale was back.
On the club's official Twitter page, eagle-eyed fans scanning for an announcement noticed a change in the bio.
Under the club name and the Twitter handle were added a selection of numbers. The numbers read: 16:03:11:09.
Gareth Bale's shirt numbers during his initial spell with Spurs were 16, 3 and then 11.
With the 11 unavailable now, it appears Bale is going to take the vacant number nine shirt. And that confirmation of his arrival is imminent.
