Tottenham defender set to leave club as £7 million deal agreed

Tottenham Ashley Phillips

Tottenham defender Ashley Phillips is set to seal a permanent move to Championship club Middlesbrough.
According to The Standard , Tottenham will receive £7 million for Phillips, plus potential add-ons.
It is also understood that Tottenham have managed to negotiate a sell-on clause as part of the deal.
The 21-year-old has been unable to break into Tottenham’s first-team plans, but does have plenty of Championship experience.
He has played over 100 Championship games during loan spells at Blackburn, Plymouth and Stoke.
