Tottenham could yet make an eighth summer signing in the final days of the transfer window, says manager Antonio Conte said Tottenham remain open to a possible eighth summer signing.
Spurs have invested heavily this summer, with Conte demanding more strength in depth to his squad as they look to battle on four fronts including a return to the Champions League and a fierce battle for the top four - or higher - in the Premier League.
Talks are ongoing over a few outgoings, including Harry Winks and Sergio Reguilon, but Conte does not want to leave his options short.
He told reporters: “For sure if there are players that go out, then we need players to come in. The club know very well the importance for me to have a squad with a couple of players in every role.
“For sure we want to make happy every single player but at the same time we have to make the right evaluation for our club, for our team so we'll see what happens.”
