Tottenham's Europa League round-of-16 tie against Dinamo Zagreb has been reversed to avoid a clash with neighbours Arsenal, in a boost for Jose Mourinho's side.

Spurs and Arsenal, who face Greek club Olympiacos in the last-16, were both due to play their first legs away on March 11 and the second leg at home a week later, with the north London derby at the Emirates Stadium sandwiched in between on Sunday, March 14.

As domestic cup winners, Arsenal's tie takes priority, so Tottenham's has been reversed, leaving them without a trip overseas ahead of the potentially pivotal derby.

Uefa is also liaising with European governments on Covid-19 restrictions, which could force ties to be moved to neutral venues.

Tottenham thrashed Austrian minnows Wolfsberger 8-1 on aggregate to reach the Europa League last-16, with the away leg of that tie moved to the Hungarian capital of Budapest.

Meanwhile, Arsenal’s last-32 meetings with Benfica were played in Rome and Athens respectively.
