Tottenham confirmed team vs Chelsea: Matt Doherty in, Sergio Reguilon on bench, Eric Dier out

Antonio Conte has named a strong Tottenham Hotspur line-up to face Chelsea in the semi-final first leg of the Carabao Cup.

Ahead of the match Conte said that Spurs had a couple of Covid cases in their camp but he has been able to name a strong line-up to face the Blues with just a couple of changes.

Chelsea have rotated their squad slightly more as they have in previous rounds with Romelu Lukaku returning to the starting line-up among six changes from their last Premier League match.

For Spurs the only changes from the win against Watford at the weekend come in defence with Eric Dier out of the team and a back three of Japhet Tanganga, Davinson Sanchez and Ben Davies playing together.

Sergio Reguilon drops to the bench with Matt Doherty, who has been linked with a move away from the club, coming in to the team at left wing-back.

Here is the team Conte has chosen to face Thomas Tuchel's side at Stamford Bridge:

Lloris; Tanganga, Sanchez, Davies; Emerson, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Doherty; Lucas, Kane, Son.

Subs: Gollini, Austin, Rodon, Reguilon, Winks, Ndombele, Lo Celso, Alli, Gil.
