Tottenham confirm Antonio Conte’s coaching staff as five new faces join Ryan Mason in backroom team

Tottenham have confirmed six of the men who will join Antonio Conte in the dugout as part his new-look coaching staff.

Spurs appointed Conte as their new manager on an 18-month deal this week after sacking Nuno Espirito Santo.

The Italian has been cleared to be in the dugout for the first time against Vitesse Arnhem in the Europa Conference League tonight and he will be joined by his backroom staff.

Conte will be assisted by Cristian Stellini and his brother Gianluca Conte, a technical and analytics coach, while Constantino Coratti, Gian Piero Ventrone and Stefano Bruno have joined as fitness coaches.

Former Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason will also form part of the Italian’s staff as first-team coach.

Stellini, Coratti and Gianluca all worked with Conte at Chelsea and Inter, while Ventrone is a highly-respected fitness coach, influential during Conte’s time at Juventus.

Discussions are ongoing about the appointment of a goalkeeper coach, with Gianluca Spinelli, Conte’s colleague with Italy and at Chelsea, now at Paris Saint-Germain and Adriano Bonaiuti, his goalkeeping coach at Inter, remaining with the Nerazzurri.
