Spurs set to appoint Fonseca
Tottenham’s lengthy search for a manager appears finally set to end this week.
football.london understands that the incoming Fabio Patarici has chosen the former AS Roma head coach as his prime candidate to take the reins in north London.
Talks are thought to be progressing well and are now in the final stages, whilst his backroom team is being finalised.
There is a growing confidence that the deal will be announced by at least early next week.

Tottenham confirm Foyth deal
Whilst Spurs haven’t had a manager for some time, that has not stopped work being done on the club’s transfer dealings.
A transfer has already been announced in north London with central defender Juan Foyth having joined La Liga outfit Villarreal on a permanent deal.
The Argentine defender spent last season on loan with the club, playing a key role in their historic UEFA Europa League success.

Sheffield United’s Aaron Ramsdale eyed
Away from outgoings, Spurs also appear to have put in work on potential arrivals, too.
According to Mail Online, Tottenham are interested in Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale as their long-term Hugo Lloris replacement.
The stopper, who was on England’s initial squad list for Euro 2020, only made the move to Bramall Lane last season but suffered a second consecutive relegation from the Premier League after the same fate with Bournemouth.
