Paratici arrives in London to close Nuno deal
Spurs' new sporting director Fabio Paratici has arrived in London to formalise the appointment of former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo.
This is according to Sky Sports, who are reporting that the Italian director arrived in London on Tuesday, and will be holding further talks with Espirito Santo later on this week.
Spurs are confident of completing a deal for the Portuguese and ending the long-running search for Jose Mourinho's successor ahead of their return to pre-season training.
The report claims that despite Turkish club Fenerbahce being rumoured to be close to appointing Espirito Santo, this is not the case, and Spurs will have a free path to this appointment.
Harry Kane scores his first goal at Euro 2020
Tottenham striker Harry Kane has opened his account for Euro 2020, after England secured a 2-0 victory over Germany.
Raheem Sterling scored the first midway through the second half and Kane then added the killer blow in the 86th minute, as England progressed to the quarter-finals in Rome.
It is 36 goals and counting now for club and country since the beginning of 2020/21.
