Tottenham transfer chief Fabio Paratici has confirmed the club have held no further talks with Harry Kane, who is happy to be part of the rebuild in north London.
The England captain spent the majority of the summer angling for a move away from his beloved Spurs, unhappy with the current direction of the club.
Manchester City were extensively linked, but failed to register the type of mammoth bid it would have taken for chairman Daniel Levy to even entertain.
After missing the start of the season, Kane returned during the win over Wolves at Molineux, when he was given a raucous reception from the travelling fans.
That did the trick, with the striker soon confirming he will stick around for at least one more season.
However, in six Premier League games, he has yet to score or assist, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side looking lackluster in attack.
But Paratici has suggested that Kane is in a good place after a summer of upheaval, hinting he will play a key role in the Spurs rebuild.
"Harry Kane loves Tottenham. We decided to keep Harry last summer to start the re-building, and we’re happy with our choice," he said at the Festival dello Sport event.
“There’s no need for any new talk with Harry. He knows how to share the sense of belonging to Spurs.”
Paratici’s comments come on the heels of reported Spurs target Dusan Vlahovic throwing his own future into question, rejecting a new contract with Fiorentina.

The 21-year-old Serbian is one of the most sought after forwards in Europe, after scoring 21 Serie A goals last term.
Fiorentina are desperate to tie their star asset to an extended contract, but president Rocco Commisso recently revealed those attempts had been unsuccessful.
“As you know, Fiorentina made a very significant offer to the player. Our proposal would have made him the highest paid player in the history of the club,” Commisso confirmed in a message to supporters.
“We also improved our offer on a number of occasions in order to accommodate the requests of both Dusan and his entourage. However, despite our efforts, those offers have not been accepted.
“During my time in Florence over the past few weeks, I have personally endeavoured to find a solution that would make both the player and the club happy, but I am disappointed to say that our efforts and attempts have not been rewarded.”
And while Spurs director Paratici admitted there was an appreciation for the player, he isn’t currently in their plans, thanks to Kane’s presence.
"Dusan Vlahovic is appreciated by many clubs, it’s normal - he’s not in our plans, for now," he added.
"I’m not gonna speak about Dusan Vlahovic as he’s under contract with Fiorentina… and also because we've got Harry Kane, who’s the best centre-striker in the world."
