Tottenham have the opportunity to move into sixth in the Premier League table providing that they beat Wolves on Sunday afternoon.
Way off their best last Saturday as Leeds United defeated them 3-1, Spurs need to get back on track with three points if they want to finish the season in a European place.
With a Champions League spot pretty much out of the question despite the fact it is still mathematically possible, all eyes are now on securing a Europa League place as Ryan Mason's team bid to ensure they do not miss out on Europe altogether for the 2021/22 season.
West Ham missed a good opportunity to keep up the pressure on the top four on Saturday evening following a late 1-1 draw away at Brighton & Hove Albion, and Spurs can now deliver them a further blow this afternoon providing that they beat Wolves.
Three points will see the team draw level on 59 points with the Hammers but Spurs will crucially move ahead of them into sixth due to their superior goal difference.
Effectively worth an extra point at this stage of the season as their goal difference is currently ten better than West Ham's, the Lilywhites will head into their final two games in the driving seat for the final Europa League position.
However, they do have two tricky games coming up with Aston Villa and FA Cup winners Leicester City still to come in the final week of the campaign.
West Ham, on the other hand, perhaps have an easier finish on paper against West Brom and Southampton but this season has proved that things don't always go to plan in the top flight.
