Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is not pushing for January moves for rumoured transfer targets Marouane Fellaini, Edin Dzeko and Kalidou Koulibaly.

All three players have been linked with Spurs since Mourinho replaced Mauricio Pochettino last month, but Standard Sport understands that the Portuguese has not asked chairman Daniel Levy to pursue the trio when the window opens at the start of next month.

Reports in the Belgian press on Monday suggested that Mourinho had already made contact with Fellaini, who he managed at Manchester United, over the possibility of returning to England from China, where he currently plays for Shandong Luneng.

Roma striker Edin Dzeko would appear to fit the bill as suitable backup for star man Harry Kane, given his Premier League experience with Manchester City, but Mourinho has not requested that the Bosnian be signed.

Napoli defender Koulibaly was linked with a shock move to Spurs by the Spanish press over the weekend. Mourinho may well have to overhaul his backline next summer, with Jan Vertonghen and Toby Aldeweireld both out of contract, while Danny Rose will have just twelve months to run on his deal and the club could choose to cash in.
