Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho confirms starring role in new Netflix show

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is to star in another football drama - but this time it will be on Netflix.

Amazon Prime are making a behind-the-scenes documentary of Tottenham’s season as part of their All Or Nothing series.

Mourinho has regularly joked about the new show since taking over as Spurs boss but revealed that he has already made another show for Amazon’s rivals Netflix .

The Netflix show will feature managers from different sports and Mourinho joked he will have to keep it a secret from Amazon who are broadcasting Premier League games this week and have a tie-up with Tottenham.

“I’m doing also an episode for Netflix, it’s true,” smiled Mourinho. “Eight coaches of eight different sports. I’ve filmed it already, I don’t know when it comes out.

“My part is done. There are other coaches, NBA, F1, tennis, NFL, rugby, not cricket! But Amazon guys, they cannot know!”

Mourinho returns to former club Manchester United on Wednesday night, sitting in the opposing dugout for the first time since being sacked by the Red Devils last December.

The Portuguese has won all three of his games as Spurs boss since replacing Mauricio Pochettino, including the weekend's 3-2 win over Bournemouth .

Spurs will start the day in sixth position in the Premier League, six points behind the top four places and two points ahead of United, who are down in 10th.

Ahead of his return, Mourinho said: "Honestly, Manchester United for me is in my book of experiences, my history book. A little bit like Mr Mandela was saying, ‘You never lose. You win or you learn.’

“At United I won and I learned. No regrets

"I'm not a villain, I'm not an enemy but I am the coach that is trying to win against Manchester United.

“I went back as a pundit which is a different perspective. I was really humbled by such a beautiful reception. I go back as the coach of the team that is going is try to beat Manchester United and that maybe gives a different perspective."
