There may have been no football for a while now, but that doesn’t mean that there is nothing to talk about around Tottenham Hotspur.
There is still plenty going on away from the playing field at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium which gave Spurs correspondent Alasdair Gold plenty to discuss on Friday afternoon’s Facebook live video.
Topics ranged from the inevitable transfer talk to Erik Lamela.
There was also a question surrounding Hugo Lloris’s future at the club.
“Similarish to the Kane thing, I don’t think Lloris will leave this summer. I think this probably isn’t the one to sell on Hugo Lloris, I don’t think he had very much time to work with Mourinho with just over a month since he came back from his injury.
“That relationship is still very new, Lloris still brings something whether you can rightly criticise him for some of the mistakes he makes. As a player, he has something that Tottenham don’t have right now and that’s a winning mentality, this guy has lifted the biggest trophy of all, the World Cup, he’s very experienced, 33-years-old.”
Other topics included the financial impact of the Premier League suspension and Spurs’ interest in Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana.
