VAR once again hit the headlines as Dele Alli's goal was given - despite the big screens at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium reading 'no goal'.
The situation caused confusion as referee Chris Kavanagh awarded the goal despite VAR's apparent ruling during their match vs Watford on Saturday afternoon.
Watford had been leading thanks to Abdoulaye Doucoure's sixth minute opener and were containing last year's Champions League runners-up for much of the game.
But, huge controversy occurred after Kavanagh's decision of goal stood despite VAR's message on the big screen.

Phil Thompson, who was covering the game on Soccer Saturday, said prior to the decision: "It's hit the top of Alli's arm and I don't know what the referee is going give. I think he's going to rule it out."
Before stating "oh no, he's given it! Hang on, no it's a no goal" moments later.
"The referee looked like he pointed back to the centre-circle. Hang on, the board has gone up to say the goal has been disallowed but they're now playing from the centre-spot.
"They've kicked off, so he's given it. I have no idea what's going on!"

Despite the end result Spurs' performance was flat, continuing on from their form pre-international break.
The hosts failed to have more than one shot on target before Alli scored the equaliser.
