Tottenham and Jose Mourinho handed major warning ahead of Europa League draw

Lokomotiv Plovdiv coach Bruno Akrapovic has made a strange claim involving Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs are now condemned to going through the Europa League qualifiers, entering at the second round after Arsenal won the FA Cup.

And it seems they are a team in demand, even in Bulgaria, where one coach in particular is dreaming of a date with the mighty Spurs.

After Lokomotiv Plovdiv progressed to the second round of the Europa League qualifiers, their coach Akrapovic revealed he wanted to draw Tottenham.

"I want us to draw Tottenham and beat them in Plovdiv," he told the media after his side's win over Iskra.

Plovdiv are one of only three sides Spurs can draw as a seeded outfit.

The draw is separated into 12 pots, each of which has three seeded and three unseeded teams.

Spurs are in pot seven, and they can face either Plovdiv, LAC or Aris, all unseeded teams from Bulgaria, Albania and Greece respectively.

Should Jose Mourinho's men progress through the second and then third round, they will take part in the final qualifying round - the Europa League play-offs.
