Victor Osimhen's name has been in sports headlines in the build-up to the summer transfer window opening.
The Nigerian forward has been linked with a range of Premier League clubs in recent months, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
He has scored 18 goals in his debut campaign for the French club, bagging 13 in the league in addition to goals in the Champions League and French cup competitions.
A player who can hold up the ball as well as bamboozle goalkeepers himself he also teed up four assists for his teammates in Ligue 1 and has been compared to Didier Drogba due to his style of play.
And Lille manager Christophe Galtier has confirmed that striker Victor Osimhen will leave the Ligue 1 club at the end of the season.
He said: "Regarding Victor and Gabriel [Magalhaes], yes, I've known for a long time that they’re leaving."
Spurs and Chelsea remain interested, but they may have to act quickly if they want to get a deal done.
That is because reports from RMC Sport editor Mohamed Bouhafsi say that the striker has chosen to move to Napoli, although a deal has not yet been completed.
In a tweet, he said: "Victor Osimhen [has] chose Naples but it is not done yet. The player changed agents a few weeks ago and that created some differences. Napoli must negotiate with these agents. The Italian club is trying to complete this within 24/48 hours.
"Two English clubs including Tottenham and another whose name has not filtered try to slip into this uncertainty. But Napoli took a lot ahead."
