Former Arsenal midfielder Serge Gnabry scored four goals for Bayern as Spurs conceded seven times on a humbling night for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
The way Tottenham fell apart leaves them on the verge of a crisis after their shaky start to the season and will do little to dampen the ongoing uncertainty at the club.
Spurs, last season’s Champions League finalists, were booed off on surely what was their worst night worst night in five years under Pochettino.
Tottenham went ahead through Heung-min Son but they were pegged back almost straight away when Joshua Kimmich equalised and Robert Lewandowski then put Bayern ahead right on the stroke of half time.
