Tottenham narrowly avoided a Champions League hangover as they struggled to a 1-0 win against resolute Burnley.
After the high of sealing qualification for the knockout stage at Camp Nou, it was back down to earth for Spurs at a wet and half-empty Wembley, as Sean Dyche's side set out to frustrate.
Mauricio Pochettino gave 18-year-old Oliver Skipp his first Premier League start in midfield, while Ben Davies was asked to fill in at centre half, with Juan Foyth, Eric Dier and Jan Vertonghen all out.

Spurs brought on Christian Eriksen and Son Heung-Min to try a force the issue, and Hart made an excellent low stop to deny Lamela again.
Fernando Llorente was thrown into the mix and Spurs should have won it when he chested into the path of Son, only for the Korean to drag his effort wide.
But after Dele Alli had been denied at the death by a desperate challenge from Phil Bardsley, Spurs looked set to succumb to their first stalemate in the league this season.
But substitute Christian Eriksen finished off a well-worked move in stoppage time to hand Spurs their seventh win in eight Premier League matches.
