Scotrail have hit out at 'totally unacceptable' behaviour on a Glasgow train which led to the British Transport Police being called.
Passengers 'caused a disturbance' on a Larkhall to Milngavie service which led to transport cops having to board the train at the city centre station.
Scotrail apologised for the delay as fellow passengers waited for police to arrive.
Scotrail Tweeted earlier this evening: "Due to passengers causing a disturbance on the 1803 Larkhall to Milngavie service, the train will be delayed at Glasgow Central whilst we wait for BTP to arrive.
"We're sorry if you're being delayed because of this totally unacceptable behaviour."
British Transport Police have been contacted for comment.
