‘Totally broke’ Armie Hammer really is selling timeshares on the Cayman Islands

Where does an A-list Hollywood movie star go after being accused of cannibalism? Apparently the Cayman Islands.

Armie Hammer, who has been dumped by his wife, his publicist and all of his movies amid allegations of rape and some sordid tales of a taste for human flesh, is now selling timeshares at a resort on the island in the Caribbean, Variety confirmed Wednesday.

“He is working at the resort and selling timeshares. He is working at a cubicle,” an anonymous source told the outlet. “The reality is he’s totally broke, and is trying to fill the days and earn money to support his family.”

None of the vast wealth accumulated by Hammer’s great-grandfather, oil tycoon Armand Hammer, apparently went to him.

The actor’s ex-wife, Elizabeth Chambers, moved their children to the Caymans after they split in July 2020, thus his relocation, according to Variety.

Speculation first began when a producer on Showtime’s “Desus & Mero” tweeted, then deleted, a photo of a flyer sent to her by her parents from Morritt’s Resort in Grand Cayman, advertising the services of a man named Armie who looked strikingly like the “Social Network” star. Initially, Hammer’s team denied it. Now, his lawyer told Entertainment Weekly that he “can’t confirm or deny” his client’s new job.

Hammer’s lawyer did not immediately return a request for comment from the Daily News Thursday.

Last March, a woman identified only as 24-year-old Effie accused Hammer of “mentally, emotionally, and sexually” abusing her during a four-year on-and-off relationship that culminated in an April 2017 assault during which he “violently raped me for over four hours in Los Angeles.”

“He repeatedly slapped my head against a wall, bruising my face,” Effie said at a press conference alongside lawyer Gloria Allred. “He also committed other acts of violence against me to which I did not consent.”

An ex-girlfriend claimed that Hammer branded her in her pelvic area with the letter “A,” his initial, and drank the blood from the fresh wound. Another woman shared screenshotted messages allegedly from the actor, asking if he could “cut off one of your toes and keep it with me in my pocket so I always had a piece of you in my possession?”

Hammer has denied all wrongdoing, calling them “bulls— claims,” but that didn’t stop him from getting dropped by his agency, as well as cut from multiple projects, including “Shotgun Wedding,” in which he was supposed to star across from Jennifer Lopez, and “The Offer,” where he was replaced by Miles Teller.
