Total Wipeout fans were left utterly furious this evening after discovering what they believed to be the new series was actually an old episode with new voiceovers.
Richard Hammond hosted the fun BBC obstacle show from 2009 until 2012, with Amanda Byram interviewing the contestants in Argentina.
So after eight years, viewers were excited to see the show back on telly, even though Paddy McGuinness and Freddie Flintoff were presenting the show instead.
But fans were dismayed when they switched on to watch an old episode, which appeared a little blurry, and Richard Hammond's voice replaced.

One tweeted: "#TotalWipeout @RichardHammond After watching 5 mins this I find myself missing Richard Hammond more and more.... definitely not funny anymore awful awful awful #bbc #bbcone."
While another commented: "They really should have just repeated the original. #totalwipeout."

A third wrote: "I'd like to why the #BBC felt it needed to film #TotalWipeout in #Argentina? Money wasting exercise I guess?"
"Why do we have to listen to Paddy bloody Mcguiness and Freddy effing Flintoff’s inane voice over??? Just show repeats rather than make us suffer!! This was my favourite programme until they ruined it! #TotalWipeout," another raged.
One fumed: "@BBC so this is what pensioners pay for: an old program which was c**p the first time round, with new voice overs? #TotalWipeout #tvlicence."
A fan pointed out: "So I'm less then 1 minute into seeing the reboot of #totalwipeout and something seems off with the picture. Turns out : the original footage was made 2009 -2012 and was 576i (SD), where as the current broadcast is 1080i (HD). So if it looks blurry, you know why."
Another questioned: "Why not just repeat the originals? #TotalWipeout."
One lamented: "#TotalWipeout hasn’t aged well. I used to be a fan. Give me #NinjaWarrior any day now!"
A viewer raged: "So over 75's lost their free TV licence so shite like this can be remade with new commentary #TotalWipeout @bbc should be f***ing ashamed, what a total waste of OUR money."
