Tory PR machine targets local paper's online poll

Further evidence of how the Tory PR machine is just so much more focused and, well, hungry under Andy Coulson than Labour spinners. The Independent's Pandora diary today reveals the contents of an email sent by a Tory PR to colleagues about swinging a Western Morning News online poll about whether Dave Cameron would make a good leader in the opposition party's favour. He writes: "If you can spare two minutes, can you please go on and register your vote for 'yes' - it shouldn't take long to change the percentage around. Please pass this on to all helpers, campaigners and members you can think of."
