Tory leadership vote results in full: Second round totals as Dominic Raab LOSES

Tory chiefs have revealed the results of the second round of the party's leadership contest - after a heated campaign turned nasty.

Any candidate who did not win 33 fellow MPs' support was knocked today - meaning Dominic Raab crashed out of the race.

Mr Raab failing to get backers follows a tumultuous campaign for the former Brexit Secretary - after MPs rounded on his "dictatorial" threat to shut Parliament to ram through a No Deal Brexit.

All 313 MPs voted and no ballots were spoilt. Sajid Javid scraped through by one vote but said he would not drop out.

Boris Johnson raced ahead of the chasing pack ahead of the next round of voting on Wednesday.

The remaining candidates will go head-to-head in a TV debate on BBC one tonight.

MPs will select two final candidates by Thursday night to go to a month-long vote by 160,000 Tory members.
