Conservative Party leadership front-runner Boris Johnson has repeated his determination to deliver Brexit by the Halloween deadline as the race for Number 10 continues.
The former foreign secretary appeared to deliver a retort to his rival Jeremy Hunt as he vowed “we are not going to bottle it” on the EU exit date in his column for the Daily Telegraph.
Meanwhile, fellow leadership contender Mr Hunt has warned that a government under Mr Johnson would rapidly collapse, paving the way for Labour to take power.
Mr Hunt said Mr Johnson had built an alliance of supporters and opponents of a no-deal Brexit which could not survive in office.
