Torreira and Aubameyang in, Guendouzi out: How Mikel Arteta could line Arsenal up to face Palace

It is another London derby for Arsenal this weekend as they return to Premier League action against Crystal Palace.

Mikel Arteta's Gunners travel to Selhurst Park to face the Eagles, who currently sit one point and one place ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League table.

Arsenal will hope to make it three wins in a row in all competitions, after beating Manchester United and Leeds United in the Premier League and FA Cup respectively since the turn of the year.

But how should Arteta line the Gunners up for the game?

We take a look at the possible line-ups, below.

Returning to Premier League action, Mikel Arteta should keep the side which earned his first win as Arsenal boss.

Hector Bellerin is yet to make his return and thrusting him in at Palace wouldn't be the smartest idea. Despite this, Ainsley Maitland-Niles has excelled as an inverted right-back which should continue.

Sead Kolasinac may have played twice in succession but the Gunners are much more dangerous with him bombing down the left.
Nothing should change in midfield.

Lucas Torreira and Granit Xhaka did an excellent job shielding the defence and supporting the frontline which should be built on vs Palace.

Similarly, the front four should remain the same. Each player did their part both in and out of possession to a tee against United.

Gabriel Martinelli may be able to sneak a way into the starting XI but Arteta looks set on the current quartet.

Art de Roche's team: Leno; Maitland-Niles, Sokratis, Luiz, Kolasinac; Torreira, Xhaka; Pepe, Ozil, Aubameyang, Lacazette.

Mikel Arteta has options to change the team, but will probably be reluctant to make drastic changes after the improved performances of late.

Arsenal were in fine form against Manchester United, and while Arteta made changes for the cup clash with Leeds, he will have been pleased with the second half showing against the Whites.

Reiss Nelson netted the only goal of the game against Leeds, but he is likely to drop to the bench again, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang set to return after missing out through illness.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles is set to continue at right-back, with Hector Bellerin not quite ready to return to the starting line-up, while Sokratis and David Luiz both impressed against Manchester United and Sead Kolasinac should start at left-back again.

Matteo Guendouzi came into the side n midfield for the game against Leeds, but he could miss out at Selhurst Park, with Lucas Torreira returning alongside Granit Xhaka in the middle of the park.

Robert's team: Leno; Maitland-Niles, Sokratis, Luiz, Kolasinac; Torreira, Xhaka; Pepe, Ozil, Aubameyang; Lacazette.
