Toronto’s Fred VanVleet shows off the damage to his tooth

Toronto Raptors fans celebrated a pivotal Game 4 win over the Warriors, and sharpshooter Fred VanVleet will fortunately be available to play in a potential closeout game on Monday after a scary moment on Friday night.

Golden State’s Shaun Livingston inadvertently caught VanVleet with his elbow in the second half, and VanVleet was bloodied by the blow. The initial fear was that VanVleet may have suffered a concussion or potential eye damage – but ABC’s Doris Burke reported that after receiving seven stitches, VanVleet was available to return to the court.

Cameras caught what appeared to be a tooth on the floor near where VanVleet went down.

VanVleet didn’t lose an entire tooth, but his one of his front teeth is significantly chipped.

Raptors superfan Drake commented on VanVleet’s Instagram post: “Damn twin you can use my free health care.”
