Toronto Raptors fans chanted ‘Paul Pierce sucks!’ at Paul Pierce before start of Game 1

We told you a few hours before Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday that ESPN analyst Paul Pierce had picked the Toronto Raptors to beat the Golden State Warriors in six games.

We also told you that Pierce, who had a legendary career and won a title with the Boston Celtics, stinks at picking winners.

Remember how he said the Bucks would win the Eastern Conference finals after they took a 2-0 lead over the Raptors?

Well, Pierce and the ESPN crew have their studio set up inside Scotiabank Arena in Toronto and before Thursday’s game a number of fans sitting near the set saw Pierce and let him have it.

The crew, including Michelle Beadle, seemed to have fun with it:
