The Drake Curse appears to have struck again Wednesday night as the rapper was seen taking in his hometown Toronto Maple Leafs playoff game against the Boston Bruins.
And it didn’t go well for the Maple Leafs, as they quickly fell behind 2-0 in the game before losing 6-4, a loss that pulled the Bruins even in the series at two games apiece.
If the Drake Curse is new to you, and I don’t know how it could be, teams have been known to lose after he either roots for them, goes to a game, wears their gear, and so on.
Basically, it’s bad luck to be liked by Drake, even though it really isn’t. But whatever.
