Topless woman taken away by police outside Windsor Castle while Prince Philip's funeral took place

A topless woman was taken away by police outside Windsor Castle while Prince Philip's funeral was taking place.

The woman loudly protested towards the end of a minute's silence for the royal, reports the Independent.

You can follow live updates of the funeral here. An image from the scene shows the topless woman wearing a yellow high vis vest which appears to have the phrase "climate disaster" written on the back.

The woman is seen climbing towards a statue of Queen Victoria in the centre of the Windsor Street while armed police and other members of security approach her.

Other photos from the scene show her being guided away by police officers as onlookers watched. She reportedly shouted "save the planet" after the crowd began clapping following the silence.
