Topless Scots Kilted Coaches release new workout video to improve 'pulling power'

Two popular topless and kilted Scots fitness coaches are back with a new exercise video that aims to help fans improve their 'pulling power'.

The clip sees Kilted Coaches Stephen Clarke, 37, and Rab Shields, 36, working out in their traditional tartan threads (and not much else) amidst some stunning Scottish scenery.

The pair of personal trainers from Perth are looking to inspire people to change their lives for the better with outdoor exercise.

The fitness focused pair explained that the latest clip was inspired by the idea that it can seem quite difficult to get the back muscles properly worked without access to gym equipment, the pair made up a new routine to show their members some basic exercises to get the "lats and traps fired up".

The clip shows the boys, who have an audience all around the world, demonstrating how to do four exercises including the two arm row, push backs, one arm row and shrugs.

Stephen explained that they are hoping to keep people positive and focused during the latest round of restrictions, he said: "During lockdown we have faced similar challenges to most although our membership is (and has always been) online and geared around being able to exercise from home (or your surroundings) so we have been kept busy keeping our clients fit and healthy and most importantly, mentally strong during this challenging time."

He added that although their memberships have remained constant throughout the lock down period they've noticed that more people have actually been attempting the routines now as opposed to simply watching the videos for entertainment.

Joking about the intro to the video where the pair are close to bursting out laughing as they fool around, Rab explained that they actually film most of their video takes in one shot, he said: "We always try to be ourselves and when we put the kilts on we just let loose. Sometimes it works... other times it can be cringe, but we own it regardless."
