Emergency services attended a street in Liverpool this morning after reports of a man shouting at people.

Police patrols were called to Beechwood Road, in Cressington, at around 10am on Monday, September 20.

A topless man was reportedly shouting at members of the public out of a residential property.

A witness told the ECHO that a man was leaning out of house window shouting at police to 'go away.'

They said: "The other upstairs window is smashed. It's a bit of a standoff. He's got his shirt off and is mainly just telling them to go away."

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "We had a report at just after 10am today of a man shouting at people from the window of a property in Beechwood Road.

"Patrols attended and spoke to the man and gave him advice and the incident was concluded."
