Tophski's ultimate Glasgow food challenge asks diners to defeat mammoth feast

With only one in more than 100 people reigning victorious, it's fair to deem the following as Glasgow's ultimate food challenge.

Tophski's, which can very reasonably lay claim to being the city's food porn kings, has laid down the gauntlet to Glaswegians who reckon they can smash through way too much scran within 30 minutes.

The image alone of all the food you need to devour is hard enough to swallow - but reality really strikes when you're served up the snacks you have to send down the hatch.

Tophski's share platter features:

  • 15 boneless BBQ bites
  • 15 boneless Buffalo bites
  • Six homemade Tophski's mozzarella sticks
  • Over a kilo of cajun fries and five selected dips

It might seem simple ... but dozens have failed before - and there's certain rules in place.

The prize up for grabs if you complete the challenge? Your full £40 back (deposit included), a full slab of Malteser cake and entry to Tophski's Champions event,

Setting out the rules, they say:

  • You must pre book the challenge in store £20 non refundable deposit
  • The challenge can only be booked for Monday-Thursday. You can pay the deposit any day of the week. We will find a time that suits you
  • You have 30 minutes
  • You only need to finish 30 boneless bites (15 buffalo 15 Bbq) over a kilo of Cajun fries and 6 Toph mozzarella sticks.
  • You can’t get up from your table/you can’t be sick
  • You can’t share (we have reserved a table for challenges)

Still reckon you can take it on? You've got to make sure you're a serious player ...

The Tophski's team say: "Only book this if you can scran. Otherwise you are wasting your time!

"People talk a lot of smoke in the comments but you aren't about this life."

Over to you, Glasgow.

To find out more about Tophski's and their incredible culinary creations, you can visit them at the Cathcart Old Parish Church at 119 Carmunnock Rd, Glasgow, G44 5UW or check out their scran on Instagram here.
