Loudmouth Tory deputy chairman Lee Anderson has been mocked by Piers Morgan after griping about a story not being covered in the media.
He made the complaint on Twitter - alongside a screenshot showing it WAS featured.
The controversial right-winger, who was a surprise choice by Rishi Sunak for the senior role, shared a picture of a story in The Times about economic growth.
Mr Anderson wrote: "Getting There. You won't see this in the MSM (mainstream media)."
Needless to say many were quick to point out the error.
Mr Morgan - a presenter on rival channel TalkTV - couldn't resist a dig, writing: "That’s literally a screenshot from the MSM."
Comedian Simon Harris wrote: "If you won’t see it in the mainstream media, why have you shared a screenshot from the mainstream media?"
And Times columnist Hugo Rifkind wrote: "Big shout-out to my colleagues in the dissident alternative media."
Another Twitter user responded: "There's no way you're real. You *have* to be a parody."
Digital artist Dan Hett wrote: "mmm yes that never-seen shadowy underground publication, The Times."
Mr Anderson is himself establishing himself as a media figure, having been given a weekly show on GB News where he will be able to air his vile rants about the poor.
It comes after he previously posted on Facebook: “I don’t have a second job, I love the job I have already."
Mr Anderson also publicly denounced ex-Cabinet minister Owen Paterson as he faced a row over his second job.
“We are paid handsomely for the job we do and if you need an extra £100,000 a year on top then you should really be looking for another job,” he posted.
Mr Anderson has repeatedly ranted about struggling Brits relying on foodbanks - and earned the nickname “30p Lee” for his claims about the cost of meals.
Last week he was accused of "demonising" those in poverty by saying families "abuse" foodbanks then take their children to McDonald's.
Earlier this year he claimed foodbank users squander their cash on cigarettes, alcohol, expensive TV subscriptions and holidays.
In 2021, when the men's Euro 2020 football tournament was taking place, he vowed to boycott England matches in protest at the players taking the knee in support of anti-racism campaigners.
