Everton fans are convinced their team has one of the best defenders in the Premier League after watching their side win against Norwich City.
Goals from Andros Townsend and Abdoulaye Doucoure saw the Blues move level on points with three other clubs in the Premier League table, after beating Norwich 2-0 at Goodison Park.
Townsend put the hosts in front with a 29th-minute penalty, awarded after referee David Coote watched replays back pitchside of Ozan Kabak’s challenge on Allan.
Norwich midfielder Mathias Normann subsequently brought two good saves out of Jordan Pickford before Doucoure’s finish doubled Everton’s advantage in the 77th minute.
But there was one player who particularly impressed Everton fans – Yerry Mina.
The Colombian centre-back put in a solid performance as he partnered Michael Keane at the back.
And fans have said they must have one of the league's best defenders in their ranks, if he can stay fit this season.
